Here comes the rain... (Production Day 14)

Our first day shoot at the Martino Jungle. Everything went smooth until Murphy showed his face in form of several inches of rain... More later...

Our group fight their way through the jungle.

To make the jungle look more interesting, before every shot the art department waters down the leaves.

Our riggers getting ready for an effect shot.

Director Jorg and Kellan discussing the next shot.

Yes! Making movies is fun :-)

Some scenes require two cameras.

The real star of the day. Our dead panther...

...one more amazing effect creature straight from the shop of Proteus FX. Here with the team: Jessica, Hugo and Barney.

I had a little job, too. This time it was shaking the trees :-)

Everything is humongous in this country. Look at the fern!

And here comes the rain...

Chris and Jorg are waiting for a clear sky...

Without luck. That's a wrap for today.

Last, the promised picture of the interior of the tent from yesterday's shoot.

  • We were at Manuel Antonio on May 13th watching you film - Production Day 4. Just found this posting and it will be fun watching your film progress.

Thank you for this site - this answered some questions to an odd encounter on the beach that day.
